Sopp Mushroom Table Lamp, USB Powered

A USB powered mushroom table lamp in moulded acrylic, running at 5 V from a USB cable, with three light tones and stepless dimming, in cream, white, black or orange. It is for a bedside table, desk corner or bookshelf, and its wide dome bounces the light down onto the surface so nothing glares.

The Danish mushroom silhouette is one of those shapes that stopped looking like a trend some decades ago. Because the shade is acrylic rather than glass it carries colour evenly and survives a knock, which matters on a bedside table you reach for in the dark. Cream and white keep a pale room calm. Black turns the lamp into a small piece of punctuation against light timber. Orange is the one that gives a neutral room something to talk about.

It plugs into the same charger, laptop or power bank as everything else you own, and there is no adaptor brick to hide. You set both the colour and the level of the light rather than accepting whatever the lamp was set to at the factory: warm and very low at midnight, clear and bright when you are reading.
