Twist Sculpture, Rust Brown Abstract Form

An abstract twisted sculpture in a rust brown finish, 30 cm tall and about 18 x 15 cm at its widest, cast in resin. It is for a console, a sideboard or a bookshelf, where its warm colour and turning shape give a neutral room one point of movement.

The form rises from a flat base and turns as it goes up, so each side shows a different profile: soft folds on one face, a sharp ridge on another. The rust brown finish sits well beside walnut, linen and cream stone, and under low lamplight it reads as deep terracotta rather than orange.

Resin keeps it lighter than stone of the same size, which makes it easy to move between rooms or onto a high shelf. Place it on its own, or beside a pale vase or a stack of books for contrast. Dust it with a soft dry cloth. It is a decorative object, not a toy, and is best kept indoors.
